Preserving the pure Inuit dog
Every winter at the end of March, Paul Schurke of Wintergreen dog sledding takes a crew and guests to Churchill (Manitoba), on the Hudson's Bay. They stop at Toadhall, half-way to Gillam where they catch the train for part of the way.
On this trip Bria Schurke was co-leader with her father. In a normal winter, they camp in the snow. However, this year it had already disappeared. We are delighted to host the great variety of guests. Below are a few pictures taken in the early morning.
